Bitcoin Pizza Day celebrates the time a man spent $650 million on pizza

The first Bitcoin purchase ever was made that day by Laszlo Hanyecz,   

who purchased two pizzas from Papa John's.    

The deal laid the groundwork for the Bitcoin revolution in finance.
